This Jordan 1 Low features black and red tones throughout, including in the forefoot, leading to it gaining the moniker Bred Toe. Specifically, this reflects the black forefoot mudguard surrounding the Gym Red toe box, which is marked with a series of ventilation holes to provide aeration across the front of the foot. Additional black overlays sit just behind it, overlapping with the black eyestay at the top. This feature is held together by black laces that lie over a black tongue with the Jumpman logo embroidered into it in white. Another one of these emblems has been printed on the black insole, mirroring the one on the tongue and creating an eye-catching detail when the shoe is looked at from above.

Through the midfoot, premium white leather can be seen. Black swooshes have been placed atop this panel on each sidewall, and a single line of white stitching divides it through the middle. Behind this line, more Gym Red segments appear, one around the collar, the other enveloping the bottom half of the heel. In between these panels, the black tail of each swoosh and the rear portion of the midfoot come together to form a stack of colored overlays at the back of the foot.

Underpinning this design is a rubber sole unit whose top layer is a white midsole with a textured surface and Air cushioning inside. While this brings comfort, the Gym Red outsole adds traction via its combination of circular grip patterns under the forefoot and more blocky formations below the heel. Back on the upper lies a carefully embroidered set of Air Jordan Wings in white. Located on the Gym Red heel wrap, they give the sneaker a memorable appearance from all angles.
