Nike Air Force 1 Fontanka

These Air Force 1 Fontankas have a mostly greyscale design that covers them from heel to toe. The one exception to this is the brick of React foam in the heel of the midsole, which is a light khaki yellow. The midsole which surrounds it and the cloven outsole beneath it are both bright white. On the upper, a charming light gray coats the vamp and quarter, appearing through the perforated toe box, the layered swoosh and the double overlays of the eyestay. It returns once more on the pair of tongues, both of which have black highlights in the form of a triple swoosh on the primary tongue and Nike text on the one below it.

Within the shoe, the sockliner is also entirely gray, aside from some black branding, while on the heel panel, which has been divided into three sections, even the stitching is gray. These lines of thread come in a zigzag pattern on the heel, though elsewhere, the stitching is even more varied. There are extra bands sewn into either side of the heel to add to the additional strips traversing the midfoot, and the traditional lines that border the toe box deviate over its edge for a memorable, off-kilter look.
