Jordan 4 Retro OG
This stealthy-looking Jordan 4 Retro OG sneaker carries the name Bred thanks to its deep black upper and its vibrant red highlights. The latter tone can be found on the heel and toe cap of the grippy outsole, with the majority of this feature coming in Cement Grey. Two areas of Summit White rubber sit under the forefoot and the arch, the former lined with diagonal indentations, the latter hosting Fire Red Nike branding. Two of these hues make their way up into the midsole, which is Cement Grey where it moves around the toe and along the lateral flank, and Summit White through the rest of the foot. Beneath the heel and visible through a clear window in the midsole is a pocket of encapsulated Air that provides the wearer with a soft, bouncy platform to walk upon.
Connecting this sturdy base to the upper is a sleek black mudguard. Above this, the main part of the outer is made from three layers of smooth black nubuck, one around the vamp, another from heel to toe across the center of the foot, and the last covering the quarter all the way to the collar. Dark laces thread through the eyelets in this final piece, while patches of black netting adorn its sides and front. Cement Grey TPU panels lie on either side of the eyestay at the top and bottom, each one with a fan of nine holes that accommodate the laces to hold them securely in place. The black tongue is visible beneath them, its peak displaying a square patch with a Fire Red Jumpman and white text that reads “Flight”.
Inside the shoe, more splashes of Fire Red can be found, firstly on the insole and then on the back of the tongue, which has an Air Jordan patch sewn into it. Black Nike Air text has been printed upon the insole, and the inner walls that rise up around it are Cement Grey. Back on the outer, black triangular wings join the uppermost lace cages to the flanks, and a black heel panel fills out the rear of the sneaker. At its top is a fanned heel pull and in its center is one last set of bold Nike Air branding that has been embossed in Cement Grey tones, thus completing this iconic Air Jordan colorway.
