The dynamic upper on this AF1 ‘07 Low makes for a one-of-a-kind sneaker. It mixes white and off-white tones, with Summit White providing the base along the midsole and outsole. While the former has soft, springy Air cushioning inserted into its heel, the latter has ringed formations set underneath the forefoot and heel. This ultimately leads to the shoe being both comfortable and easy to walk in.

Alongside this practical sole unit, the upper brings plenty of style, firstly via the Sail panels that form its exterior. Made from premium leather and sporting a repeated debossed pattern of the words “Since 1982”, it boldly celebrates the year the original AF1 design was released. It retains the classic perforation holes in the forefoot and midfoot to ensure that the shoe is pleasantly cool to wear. Meanwhile, the heel panel features a smoother leather construction, though it has also been imprinted with a set of text, this time the unmistakable Nike Air branding. Stretching out below it towards the midsole is a Sail heel strip, and reaching from beneath each side is a Metallic Silver swoosh.

Sail and Summit White work together over the top of the foot, with the former visible on the canvas tongue and the AF1-branded lace dubrae and the latter appearing on the laces as well as the edge of the tongue. The label sewn into it also comes in Summit White, while the Nike Air text written across it is light gray. Summit White mesh forms the inner lining, before the insole rounds things out. Its plush surface has been printed with a final set of “Since 1982” text in Metallic Silver to finish this distinctive shoe.
