Nike Air Force 1 Low x Off-White™
"Brooklyn"
DX1419-300
This vibrant pair of Nike Air Force 1 Low x Off-White™ sneakers is full of unique elements that give it a one-of-a-kind appearance. Most of the outer comes in a lush tone of Light Green Spark, a hue that covers the smooth leather of the upper as well as the rubber cupsole. This last feature incorporates two elements, an outsole with circular grip formations under the heel and forefoot, and a midsole with embossed Air lettering beside a second set of the same text in bold white Helvetica font. While the outsole provides quality traction, the midsole takes care of comfort via the Air pocket in its heel and the foam cushioning that spreads beneath the rest of the foot.
The upper is built from durable leather panels, with a forefoot mudguard encircling a perforated toe box in front of a pair of midfoot panels and a rear overlay that hugs the back of the foot. Over the top of the shoe is the usual eyestay, which is held together by laces in a slightly different shade of green with the word “Shoelaces” written on them in Virgil Abloh’s favored Helvetica font. This tone extends to the top of the puffy tongue, whose edge has exposed foam. There is also a hole in its surface and a label sewn into its lateral edge with green text that honors both Nike and Off-White™.
Along the peak of the collar, exposed white foam can also be seen, before the inner lining and insole return to Light Green Spark. This latter feature has distinctive black graphics printed onto it, with a hand motif on the right foot and a face on the left. Further inside the shoe, both sides have a swoosh that looks like it has been sketched by hand. Back on the outer, the sidewall swooshes come in a luminous silver material with black zigzag stitching skirting the edge. On the lateral side, there is a pale green tag sticking out from beneath the tail end of the swoosh, and on the medial flank the logo obscures white text that includes the names of both brands, the location of Nike’s headquarters and the year that the first AF1 design was released. The last characteristic of this radiant collaboration is the green Off-White zip-tie that is attached to the laces on the right foot, a hallmark of the brand’s footwear.
