Nike Dunk High

This largely dichromatic Nike Dunk High presents a captivating aesthetic associated with the early Dunk silhouette along with durable materials for a high-quality shoe. A solid cupsole unit made of tough rubber forms the sturdy foundation, firstly via a white midsole with foam cushioning inside it. Next, the black outsole brings together concentric rings in the forefoot, lugs in the heel and a Nike-branded section in the middle to give excellent traction throughout the base of the foot.

Crisp white leather forms the underlayer of the upper. Set beneath black overlays in the forefoot, eyestay and rear of the shoe, this light-colored surface shines through on the toe box, the midfoot and the collar, its juxtaposition with the darker tone setting the shoe out as a Panda colorway. While the first of these features contains ventilation holes that gently aerate the foot, the last includes four lines of stitching that curve parallel to each other from one side of the heel to the other. Below them, the rear overlay encompasses everything down to the midsole, while above, the tail ends of the sidewall swooshes converge at a pull tab in the center of the heel. Further up, the white collar can be seen, and above that, the topline turns to black before extending along the inner walls and insole. Clearly marked upon the surface of this last feature is a set of white Nike branding.

Back on the outer, black leather swooshes hurry down the flanks to rest boldly over the white midfoot panels, and black laces tie up over a white tongue. The wavy edge of the black eyestay curves back and forth up to the peak of the high-cut collar to overlap with the rear panel, with which it shares its uppermost eyelets. Next to this, a striking flash of color comes into view as University Red Nike text has been sewn alongside a swoosh on the white tongue label, thus finishing the sneaker with a dynamic touch.
