Nike Dunk Low

Two-tone color-blocking reminiscent of the 1985 classic makes this Nike Dunk Low highly desirable. White acts as the perfect canvas for the second tone, firstly appearing on the midsole, which supports the wearer with a lightweight foam wedge. While this offers plush comfort with each step, the outsole brings the traction necessary for a range of different movements. It does so via the circular indentations that emanate across its forefoot and the more linear formations on its heel, the former facilitating twists and turns, the latter allowing a solid planting of the foot. Alongside its practical advantages, this outsole comes in a warm Medium Olive tone, thus providing an aesthetically pleasing look as well.

The pair of colors that make up the sole unit return once more over the upper, with white filling out the toe box, midfoot panels and a small portion through the middle of the heel. This last piece runs just below the collar too, dividing the rear overlay and the heel panel, both of which are Medium Olive. The same khaki green coats the eyestay, the forefoot mudguard and the Nike swooshes that adorn the flanks. Artfully sewn lines of thread skirt the edges of these overlays, sometimes in double lines, sometimes single ones, giving the sneaker a handcrafted feel. Meanwhile, Nike text has been embroidered into the heel panel in eye-catching white capital letters.

Over the top of the foot, the lines of perforations that fan out across the toe box bring the forefoot both cooling aeration and an intriguing design. Moving upwards from here, the tonal variation found across most of the sneaker continues with the Medium Olive laces as they rest atop a white nylon tongue. Medium Olive branding then appears on a white patch sewn into the top of the tongue, before the inside of the shoe combines these two colors to great effect one final time. The entire inner hosts Medium Olive hues, from the padded lining to the sockliner, upon which a set of Nike text lies beside a swoosh. Both these pieces of branding come in white to finish off this retro design in style.
