Jordan 1 Low
This pair of Jordan 1 Lows has a classic three-tone color scheme and a retro feel. The rubber cupsole features a Cement Grey outsole indented with a variety of different grip structures to provide a solid base for the wearer. Meanwhile, the white midsole has been imbued with two forms of cushioning – Nike Air and foam – to create a soft footbed. Its upper edge is ringed by a line of stitches set within a shallow groove, thus completing the aesthetic of the sole unit.
Resting atop this is an upper made from a series of smooth leather panels. White forms the underlayer, coating the toe box, with its breathable perforations, and the midfoot section, which extends back in a triangular shape towards the heel and then narrows to a thin strip that runs around the heel. At the top, it overlays the low-cut collar, which comes in True Blue. When this section reaches the topline, it changes to a Cement Grey mesh that covers the inner lining and the back of the tongue. Below this lies a True Blue insole with a large white Jumpman logo printed onto it. When looked at from above, this forges a powerful look as it contrasts with another Jumpman that appears facing the opposite way in True Blue tones on the Cement Grey tongue, which itself has a blue rim.
The laces are decorated in the same pleasant shade of blue found across the rest of the sneaker, as is the eyestay they have been threaded through. The three lowest eyelets on each side are pressed into extra blue overlays, behind which the forefoot mudguard starts. It then goes on to encircle the front of the toe, again in True Blue. The heel counter also carries this hue, and a set of Cement Grey Air Jordan Wings has been carefully embroidered into its surface. This pleasing shade of gray shows up one last time on the swooshes that adorn the flanks to finish off this appealing design.
