On’s signature Cloud collection has become well-known in recent years for providing comfortable everyday footwear with reliable performance features. 2025’s On Cloud 6 continues this trend, using the same fundamental technologies as its predecessor while also improving on it in a number of key areas.

Its mesh upper offers strong resistance to wear and tear but remains lightweight and breathable for maximum comfort. No-sew overlays bring extra durability to the forefoot, while the heel has been redesigned for enhanced support. In fact, the entire structure of the Cloud 6 has been altered, with changes to the internal volume and the overall shape producing a new geometry that is both stable and comfortable. The convenient speed-lacing system has been carried over from the previous model, making it easy to slip the shoe on and off. This effect is bolstered by the updated step-in sockliner and the wider collar opening, which accommodates a broader range of foot types.

The Swiss brand’s unique CloudTec cushioning has been used to provide plush comfort, with Zero-Gravity foam adding shock-absorbing softness and Speedboard technology helping the wearer to maintain good balance. Meanwhile, the rubber outsole gives dependable traction for a confident step, its generous flex grooves allowing smooth, free-flowing movement.

Visually, the On Cloud 6 looks just as suave and stylish as its predecessor, with elegant logos on the sidewalls, heel and tongue alongside dynamically angled lines and an overall minimalist design. The distinctive CloudTec midsole brings a bolder aspect to the sneaker, giving it that iconic On esthetic. 

Continuing with its drive towards sustainability, the brand has used recycled and bio-attributed elements across all areas of the Cloud 6, with recycled polyester and TPU elements in the upper alongside midsole foam that incorporates renewable materials. These components are all of the highest quality, so the shoe has a reduced environmental impact and yet still delivers outstanding performance.
